MATT HERREN

ABOUT MATT:

Yoga is my longevity practice, the gateway to the ‘art of living’ on a cognitive, emotional and
physical level. It has had a profound effect on my life, empowering me to overcome paralysis of
my body (after a car accident) as well as liberate my mind from past trauma and programmatic
thinking. Yoga teaches me every day to be the student – on and off the mat – to find balance
and purpose in my life and to connect with others. The intention behind my practice is to prevent
dis-ease and to improve, sustain, and maximize overall wellbeing. My classes incorporate
elements of hatha (vinyasa), yin yoga, pranayama (breathwork), kriyas (prana and movement),
qigong (Chinese energy movement), meditation and sound healing.
