Maritza finds teaching yoga to be a natural extension of her work as a chiropractor. For 30+ years she has been recommending yoga to patients as a way to support their alignment and maintain their vitality in all seasons of life. She found and fell in love with her own practice about 7 years ago. Thoughts of teaching others how to safely and gently move their bodies started to percolate and she became a certified Breath Coach and Gravity Yoga instructor during the pandemic.
Maritza is a RYT 200 and graduate of the Mission Yoga Teacher training with Shay Palmer and Amanda White. She loves to share her joy of movement in her classes, private work and retreats.
