Made in Brazil with Mexican ingredients, Rosa has been studying, teaching, and propagating the therapeutic art of Iyengar Yoga since 1995. She was drawn to the mental and physical discipline after suffering three accidental falls, one of which fractured her tailbone. Since healing her back, neck and sciatica pains, she has introduced yoga to thousands of students who had never experienced this healing art and science.
In 2002, she founded Yogarosa, which became a respected yoga studio in the classical teachings of Yoga. She has been instrumental in the growth of Iyengar Yoga in South Florida, and abroad, and many of her students have become certified teachers and studio owners. Her goal is to share her expansive knowledge, so that the light of yoga can continue to be passed down to younger generations.
In 2020, her studio was forced to go virtual, and has continued to flourish online. As a teacher of teachers and mentor, she leads classes and workshops online, to students from around the world.
Rosa continues her yogic studies with her teachers from India, and in her own daily practice. She looks forward to resume life changing yoga retreats around the world, especially Pilgrimages to India.
