JENESSA STEARNS

Originally from New York City, Jenessa found her way to Miami where she attended the University of Miami School of Law.  Jenessa began her yoga journey in 1999, attending her first class. She had the most profound and remarkable first experience with yoga, and her soul was hooked from that day.  Jenessa knew that yoga would be the path to her self-discovery and healing journey.

After graduating law school in 2001, Jenessa moved to Fort Lauderdale and discovered Red Pearl Yoga.  She was a committed student to the practice of yoga on and off the mat.  On a personal quest to keep learning and growing,  Jenessa decided to take her first teacher training course to enhance the depth of her understanding and practice.  It wasn’t until she took her second teacher training course that she finally decided to teach yoga, and share this healing gift with others.

Jenessa is currently the owner of The Nurtury Montessori School in Fort Lauderdale, bringing healing, wholeness and yoga to the next generation.  She has also studied and received her Reiki I and Reiki II certification and her Pranic Healing level 1 and 2 Certifications.

Jenessa believes you can heal your body and mind through a dedicated physical, emotional and spiritual practice.  Yoga is the union of the mind, body and spirit, thus an integral part to Jenessa’s daily life.  You may have already met Jenessa as our full moon cacao ceremony facilitator where she honors this plant medicine to open the hearts and minds of ours guests.

You will also soon find her book available in print, called Who Am I – A Quest to Discover Love.  You can join Jenessa for her heart and soul vinyasa flow to continue your journey to discover who you are as the light within you.
