LAURA IOVANE

Laura was an executive publisher for 10 years before she decided to take her yoga teacher training. Tired of the crippling stress and pressure that came with her job, she decided to fully immerse herself in yoga. She completed her 200+ hour TT at Anuttara Yoga, which opened her eyes to the true power of the practice. Upon completion of her training, she started dedicating her days to teaching yoga full-time.

She went on to complete teacher training with Yoga Gangster,(now Connection Coalition) a charitable organization whose primary purpose is to aid juveniles struggling with addiction and trauma. It was during this time that she found her calling: helping those struggling with addiction and/or incarcerated juveniles in crisis through the healing power of yoga.

In 2016, Laura completed an additional 200 hour teacher training with Dharma Mittra in NYC. Today, she teaches many types of yoga at Red Pearl including vinyasa, gentle and yin. Her unique flows are designed to both challenge and uplift students physically, while emphasizing mindfulness in a safe and nurturing environment.
