We will find peace in the midst of the beautiful baby chaos!  Wear your baby while you practice, or bring a baby seat.

Fundamental Elements

of the Ashtanga Method with Minnar Martinez

This 12 Hour* Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga Foundation Immersion covers many important aspects
of the discipline that are essential for both new and experienced practitioners.

On Saturday we will break into two sessions, 9am-1pm and then 2-6pm.

On Sunday, Minnar will teach the 10am Mysore class, and then the last session of our intensive will complete from 1-5pm.

We'll dive into the fundamental elements of the method and analyze the Vinyasa system in order to be able to understand it and apply it correctly.

There will be an exploration of other parts of the Ashtanga's eight limbs including chanting and cleansing exercises, as well as many fun tools and techniques to make the hardest parts of the practice more accessible.

At the same time, we will review the importance of the traditional approach to the method and the benefits of a consistent, dedicated and patient personal practice.

This will be a perfect opportunity to move forward from whatever point in the journey each student might be.
And also, it will provide a chance to be truly immersed in the whole spectrum that the Ashtanga Yoga practice encompasses while at the same time offer insight as to why this is much more than just physical exercise.

The invitation goes out for anyone who wants to experience a more profound commitment towards their practice.
So, set an intention for these few days, connect with your breath, and let yoga do the rest.

*Note:  This immersion is up to 14 hours, actually....The Sunday 10am Mysore class is included for those who have paid for the weekend.Regular Mysore students are welcome as dropins to the class(or use class card) as Minnar will be subbing for Yanni that Sunday at 10am.

Using a series of firmly inflated, specially produced balls, we will each be our own best body workers, releasing fascia, stimulating bone and blood flow. The results are immediate and AMAZING!

Reservation/Cancellation/Refund Policy for Events & Workshops (held at studio)

You must pre-pay in full to reserve your spot; reservations will not be taken without payment.

Cancellations will be accepted up to 14 days prior to the workshop for a full refund less 10%.  No refunds or credits after that --with the following exception-- the event sells out and we can fill your spot, in which case you will receive the amount you paid less 20%.

Wondering why we don't give full refunds closer to the date?
Simple. If we stop selling spots, in order to hold your place, and then you don't attend,  that is lost income because we have turned away another attendee in order to honor our commitment to you. Our presenters have costs and minimums that we must cover in order to host them  and those expenses are bullt into the pricing and attendance level of each event.
If you are traveling to be with us, please carefully consider booking refundable flights and hotel rooms, as we do not cover those in the event you cannot come, or the very, very rare event that the presenter cancels an event.
