1 hour and 30 minutes
Kate’s inspired Vinyasa sequences along with your awareness of your breath will move you along through flowing explorations of standing and seated postures woven into variations of backbends, balances, twists and inversions.
Moving with breath awareness creates what we call a “moving meditation”. We invite you to work toward your edges, building strength and flexibility along the way.
Each class takes a different focus or intention and no two are ever the same- For example, one day hip openers, another day arm balances, or maybe strength and foundation work. These exhilarating flows are taught with a detailed progression that will move you toward YOUR fullest expression of the postures- so join us where you are. Pop into a handstand? No problem. Dip down into Child’s Pose? Go for it!
Those new to Yoga or to Vinyasa may feel challenged at times-no worries; This is normal.
We believe in allowing you YOUR experience at YOUR level. Take breaks when you need to.
The practice will wind down to a deep savasana/ guided meditation that will polish your newly sharpened edges into a peaceful, balanced and invigorated state of being.
Modifications and challenges are given for all levels.
For information on (scheduled)class cancellations or holiday hours refer to the NEWS TICKER feature on our home page. You can also sign up for our email announcements, check our Facebook page. Remember to read the posts on the lobby chalkboard so you are aware of upcoming changes.
Early for Class?
Lobby opens 15 minutes before class so that we have practice and prep time. Please be patient while we get ourselves and our space ready for you.
Late to Class?
If you are more than 10 minutes late for class, you will not be admitted into the classroom. This is first, for your own safety, and secondly, in consideration of the other students’ practice; It is distracting to them and to the teacher. If there is no one at the desk, you will find the lobby doors locked.
