Gentle Yoga-Laura

Gentle Yoga
One hour and 30 minutes

With our Gentle Yoga classes, nice and easy does it. If you have been away from Yoga for a while, why not take it slow on your re-entry? Or if you are new to Yoga, and not sure where you are yet…this is the class for you! Many of our Gentle Yoga students also have advanced practices and understand the importance of checking in with themselves in a slower paced practice.

Our Gentle Yoga class is series of asanas (physical postures) that are held for several breaths. There are slow transitions between asanas, with emphasis on alignment, pranayama(breath and subtle energy control).

Like all of our Yoga classes, this class fosters mind-body integration and awareness- but in a much less fiery practice than most other classes. You will leave feeling refreshed, and renewed. Total bliss.

All levels.

Also great for those recovering from injury who need a slower paced class. All are welcome to slow down and enjoy the ride.

Schedule Updates

For information on (scheduled)class cancellations or holiday hours refer to the NEWS TICKER feature on our home page. You can also sign up for our email announcements, check our Facebook page. Remember to read the posts on the lobby chalkboard so you are aware of upcoming changes.

Early for Class?

Lobby opens 15 minutes before class so that we have practice and prep time. Please be patient while we get ourselves and our space ready for you.

 Late to Class?

If you are more than 10 minutes late for class, you will not be admitted into the classroom. This is first, for your own safety, and secondly, in consideration of the other students’ practice; It is distracting to them and to the teacher. If there is no one at the desk, you will find the lobby doors locked.
